Short note on Health Care
Are you that someone? Are you trying to earn a living? Are you trying to support a family? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are the unwitting donor. This is Congressionally mandated theft. While I expect through my taxes to maintain a police force, road repair, parks and recreation and the military. I don’t expect to provide health care for illegal immigrants, nor those who won’t work, nor those who have 5 babies to get more welfare. This is thievery by congressional fiat.

Tragedy in Lakewood and Orlando
While the manhunt was going on stations briefly put the picture of Clemmons on the screen, “so you can get a real good look” and maybe identify him to help the investigation. Oh but Tiger Woods was released from the hospital and not talking to FHP. Yeah that's real important.
May God give the families of the lost comfort.

Dyspeptic in Florida
I am not anti-education. I am pro-truth. I believe that you don’t bite the hand that feeds you. I believe that you must serve first before you can complain, and by service I mean care for your fellow man. Fewer Americans have this mindset than ever before. It used to be that if a man were hungry, you would feed him a meal and he would do needed chores around the house/farm as it were, so as to sustain or provide for his dignity. Now, that same man is standing on a street corner with his hand out and the other in his pocket around a weapon. The Democrat ideal. Again, this isn’t a crisis of morality; it’s a crisis of need. This poor man needs food, and the only way he’ll get it is from the “Government”. That appears to be the answer to all questions. Health care? The Government is the answer. You need food? The Government again is the answer. And shelter? Here we go again… the Government. Drugs, yep here’s some free Viagra.
We (the Democrat) must think about the future, breed more loyal mouths beholding to us, the Government. Educate them to our way of thinking; stifle opposition, in all its permutations and methods; literature, television, radio, internet, and what you can’t stifle you attack openly as evil. That is the modus operandi.
Whatever happened to reasoned discussion? Compromise? This is also a skill that we as conservatives need hone.

Not Really Tired of it.....yet
O.K. I thought I'd be jaded and tired of speaking out about our government, (or lack thereof) but as I sit back and watch what is happening to our laws, schools, economy, foreign policy, military, health care, how can I remain silent? The better question is: how can YOU remain silent? When will you see that you've been sold a bill of goods.
Spending is not the way out of debt. When you have a bad loan that you default on, make the best terms possible with the bank and agree on a repayment plan. You don't get to write it off and say “Oh well. I won't have to pay this back, and I can still live in my house because...the Prez will take care of everything, from mitigating the interest rate to forgiving the entire loan."
He’s been currying favor among ne'er do wells to shore up his voting base by forgiving their loans and ensuring they get to vote (many times and in different jurisdictions. I know that people (otherwise unqualified to vote) are bussed in from different counties under the auspices of the “Job Corps” and ACORN, with local addresses just to vote in both local and national elections. The Democrats cried about a “stolen election” when G. W. Bush was elected.
The Main Stream Media has turned a blind eye to these egregious violations, but continue to tout their “boy”. And I mean “boy”, not in the Old South, meaning, but with the intent that they “own” this man, by virtue of getting him elected due to ignoring all the red flags connected with his Presidency. i.e., where exactly was he born? No redacted birth certificate. Once and for all, will he not provide definitive information on the locale of his birth? And a few other questions....
· Eye witnesses (his Grandmother et al) have said his birth was in Africa, which places him in violation of the Constitutional requirements to be President. A redacted birth certificate is on file with the election commission. How is that possible? A pure and unaltered copy is required for verification to the highest office in the world.
· The slime ball in which whose living room Obama’s political life was launched: one Michael Ayers, who now infects young peoples' minds with anti-American vitriol, espouses Communism and violent overthrow of our government, is responsible for bombing police stations in the 60's, and said he “would do it all over again”.
· Where is his donor list? This is a big deal. Bill Clinton still hasn't provided HIS donor list, which should have been a prerequisite Hillary Clinton for becoming Secretary of State.
When are Americans going to look up from the Main Stream Media newspapers, and MSNBC, CNN, and ABC News, and realize they've been snookered? With the main stream media's complicity he was elected. This needs to change. The role of media in elections needs to be attenuated to reflect the truth…. I know “novel concept”. Well, cheers for now. God Bless.

New news is old news
This information was released on February 2nd. Did anyone hear it on the news? Was it touched on in the "morning brief"? Probably touched on, but certainly not deemed newsworthy by our friends in the Media.
I guess there are only a few of us paying attention. While we are whining and complaining (rightly so) about the Porkulus Stimulus package and the bad behavior of elected officials (see, Dodd, Frank) our President, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama, has been having one over on us. It seems he is giving our enemies the fast track for entry to the U.S., along with a nice bonus of 20.3 million dollars (chump change right?); this in a memorandum to Hillary Clinton to relieve hardship by those poor terrorists being bombed into the stone age by Israel. Which side of the fence are we on? I certainly hope when Israel finally gets fed up with Iran's threats to "wipe them off the face of the earth", and Israel eradicates the pests, we (I mean the Federal Government) won't side with the Islamic terrorists. Netanyahu's recent election means pretty much that Israel is girding for war. They want a patriot in place when Iran sends CBM's into Israel; one that will withstand world opinion when they preemptively strike the numerous nuclear facilities.
One more on a growing list of outrages this president has precipitated.

Democrat Sleight of Hand
Amazing that, while we are in such dire straits with the war in Iraq, (Oh yeah? Do we still have soldiers in harm's way?) and true economic catastrophe looming, the leaders of this great nation have time to notice and spend air time pointing fingers at a talk radio host--a man not elected and not electable.
Are we being duped yet again? Are we still watching the left hand while the right lifts our wallets?
The simple answer is yes.
Another blind. More subterfuge. Does anybody see a pattern? The Obama administration, along with some other very smart people, (i.e. George Stephanopolous, who is still working for the Democrat machine via daily conference calls with the leadership, while holding the position in ABC News as a "political commentator", not labeled honestly as the liberal stooge he is). In addition to James Carville, arguably the meanest man on retainer for the DNC.
The news seems to ignore select issues such as the already broken promises by Obama, Pelosi and Reid, the unholy mess that is the Stimulus package and the respective earmarks, the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act that has nothing to do with the economy, or the lack of the much touted transparency and bipartisanship.
Republicans were not even, allowed to see the text of the bill until 9 hours before being required to vote on the floor.
What kind of good faith and transparency is this? There is more transparency in the Gambino crime families' affairs.
Did anyone see the earmark for the expansion of funding for ACORN. Or the 9 Billion dollars to assist high risk or dishonest borrowers out of the mess they made by buying more house than they could afford. I think new home owners should be required to take a class to ensure understanding of the financial terminology such as “Adjustable Rate Mortgage”and consequences before they fix their signatures.
The existing media continues to turn a blind eye to such things as the 500 Million dollar loan requested by the FDIC. Who says the banks are fine? Am I the only one watching? Meanwhile, Rome burns.

Alan Keyes for President! (Once Obama is gone)
Sorry to rain on everyone's parade, but we are NOT born equal. Some people are smart, some are dumb, and some just smart enough to work for ACORN. Life is hard, you will cry, life is scary the government will not hug you nor hold your hand, the world is dangerous, and people want to kill you because you breathe, are white, black, Mexican, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist. There is any number of reasons for people to hate, and when they hate they make war. Simple as that.
Islam teaches to hate the infidel. If you are an American and call yourself Christian, or Christ follower....that's YOU. Our President is releasing (or by this time HAS released) the mastermind of the USS Cole bombing and closing down Guantanamo Bay Prison and bringing them to SUPER MAX in Colorado and is in the process of giving them OUR Constitutional rights. They didn't fight for them nor bleed for them nor support them with their lifeblood. We are truly circling the drain.

Russia the Rogue
In a country where such things are done with no accountability, no oversight, or maybe with official oversight, what else can we expect? We see governmental misconduct unchecked by any official committee or watchdog group, unless you count Human Rights Watch, which turns a blind eye to anyone but the United States and GITMO. How do you reign in a strong member of the UN Security Council who is in cahoots with China on policy for oil and nuclear proliferation? You don't. The old question "where does a 900 lb gorilla sit?" fits. They still have the brain power to export their expertise to other countries without the all encumbering conscience that should go with it. We have a program to basically buy Russian nuclear weapons paying Russia not to sell their nukes to other bad guys, but apparently we are lowest bidder (terrorists pay more). We've got our fingers in so many holes in the dike, that we need to take off our shoes and use our toes.. Admitting Israel into NATO is a good start letting those who would do harm know how civilized nations feel (getting Muslim-influenced Europe on board will be a chore). It also has the consequence of propping up the only Democracy in the Middle East. This should be done sooner rather than later. Enough kowtowing to Syria and Iran and now Lebanon, the only thing they understand is destruction and superior force. Pelosi has undermined US policy in the Middle East the same way Kennedy did with Russia when Regan was in office. Just a rant. Sorry I’ll be more coherent in the future.

A fence keeps unwanted people out of my backyard, keeps what I do private, keeps what I don't want to see on the other side...protects my property. The Great Wall of China, the Berlin Wall, Hadrian's Wall, prison walls, walls in an aquarium for God's sake. These walls did what walls are supposed to do, keep people in or out. So why are people (read Democrats and some Republicans) saying the wall won't work? We know one thing, no wall doesn't work. Sparse patrolling of the area doesn't work, partial enforcement of laws against illegals certainly does'nt work. So why in hell don't we try that which any of us who has a backyard that is fenced in knows works? Because illegal aliens ILLEGAL aliens, not LEGAL aliens, (law breakers) have family here who vote or vote themselves. They are a growing constituency. Growing more rapidly every day that fence remains un-constructed. It's well past time to "BUILD THE DAMN FENCE"!--

Feingold is on par with the Ron Paul clot of the insane left of our nation. The McCain/Kennedy immigration amnesty abomination doesn't bode well for the future of the GOP. If Mr. McCain is elected on the credentials of his believability and credibility with mainstream conservatives. This will further polarize the Republican party. Rudy bet his bankroll on New Yorkers in Florida voting for him. What he forgot is that humans have a memory. His voting record on abortion, and tax relief is abysmal.
Fred is gone....saw the writing on the wall and decided to cut his losses. Poor Alan Keyes who is probably the most honest and intelligent man never elected, is a never was. Romney....GONE, was also pro abortion and had questionable religious beliefs (so Jesus is the brother of Satan?)
Huckabee was a surprise. I question his immigration credentials, but not his moral ones. Huckabee seemed to be the only candidate with his pants on right. Ted Kennedy endorses Osama....er Obama. Which should tell anyone in America to stay the hell away from him. And Hillary is scaring the crap out of the rest of and energizing the Republican electorate. NOBODY wants her as President. Chris Matthews says there is “magic” in Obama's campaign. It's nice to see that Obama with his slave reparation beliefs hasn't been lost on Matthews. I now believe that Rev. Wright has dug Obama's political grave. And Hillary is enjoying some schadenfruede.
The media has pretty much made a self fulfilling prophecy in that they have been decrying doom and gloom for the economy half way through GWB's first term, and now the public at large are beginning to believe it and making it happen on Wall Street. The media and their employers re: “Democrat party” can now say “we told you so” the economy has failed and growth has stagnated. As my Dad would say, anyone who believes this stand on your head and fart your socks off.
The Die is Cast
يسوع هو ابن الله!
So McCain won the Republican Primary in Florida. Rudy messed up, put all his costly eggs in one Floridian basket, and the gamble has cost him the Presidency. I would say good for the GOP but I don't think so if McCain is the eventual winner. McCain of the McCain/Feingold campaign reform (does anyone remember what a kook Russel Feingold is?) yet John McCain chose this miscreant to cosponsor campaign finance reform. Feingold is the guy who wants to take the teeth out of the FISA courts and lay bare the US to terrorist incursion.
Feingold is on par with the Ron Paul clot of the insane left of our nation. The McCain/Kennedy immigration amnesty abomination doesn't bode well for the future of the GOP. Obamarama

Can we take the chance? Obama's religious mentor hates whitey. Obama's father is a Muslim. Obama is running for the highest office of the greatest nation in the world. Does anyone but me see a problem with this? Does this give anyone pause that he may or may not have his finger on the nuclear button? He wouldn't pass a standard background check for a Secret security clearance.
His pastor should be censured by the Black community, and the Democrat party. Except the Democrats can't afford to alienate a huge portion of their base. If this pseudo-Christian was preaching his garbage in England he would be arrested for hate speech. I watched Alan Colmes of Hannity and Colmes, interview a black columnist who was asked by Colmes " are you questioning
his Christianity?" regarding Obama. He initially said "yes" but backpedaled where he should have forged ahead, and said what was on his mind. What he was about to say but was kowtowed by Colmes, is,that Christians hold each other accountable to abide by God's word. And when we act outside of God's word to be gently corrected. And if gentle correction doesn't work then more direct correction is made. That's why Paul was continually writing letters to Ephesus, and Corinth, telling his brethren to hold each other accountable to God's teachings and words. A fact that Mr. Colms and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright along with Mr. Obama who may believe the Bible or the Koran, or whatever book they are preaching from in the Trinity United Church in Chicago (I can tell you it's not MY Bible!). This man is his MENTOR, and has been proclaimed as such by Mr. Barack Hussein Obama.
Last time I checked the meaning of Mentor is:
1. a wise and trusted counselor or teacher.
2. an influential senior sponsor or supporter.
If I trust and value a senior supporter or teacher from whom I am influenced in my behavior and beliefs, I will incorporate his advice and teachings into my life. This man (Rev. Wright) has influenced a potential President of the United States. Are there any alarms going off now? No? I must just be running around saying "the Sky is falling". Well it IS. Obama's record on welfare, abortion, unions, civil rights, civil unions, homosexual agenda, marriage is abysmal
from a centrist AND conservative point of view. But the MEDIA (in capitals) is in love with him. He can do no wrong. They will not pronounce his middle name, they will not display his wife's views on race, marriage, and abortion. They will not expound on what little experience he has in legislating or executive leadership.

I ♥ Huckabee!
Regarding tonight's debate. I was Amazed! I saw the same debate that Anderson Cooper and his cohorts at CNN did, yet I didn't draw the same conclusions. Hmmm....wonder why? Is it because the agenda for CNN is different that normal people? Yup, probably. While immigration was the lead subject and there were a couple of questions about gays in the military, the latter certainly didn't "lead debate battle lines". What did lead were fiscal responsibility, Iraq and how loony Ron Paul really is. He couldn't address a question about immigration without saying we need to "bring the troops home". What a kook. Bring the troops home and the day we leave Iraq becomes part of Iran, and blood will run like a river through the streets. But for God's sake don't answer the question.
Mike Huckabee should be ouer President, with either Fred Thompson or Duncan Hunter as VP. I ♥ Huckabee!

Random Thoughts

Proposals by the Democrat party:
Socialized Health Care. We have abundant examples of the failure of Socialized Health Care. Canada for one, has a waiting list of 6 months for a choleosystectomy (gall bladder removal). All sorts of horror stories are coming from the UK, where people are left to die in hallways and not discovered for days. Russia has no health care to speak of, and that is the end of the track to which socialized health care is heading.
That is not to say that US hospitals are immune from neglect. There is a push and shove between hospitals, HMO's, Big Insurance, lawyers and congress, none of which can agree on tort reform which is the essence of the problem. Lawyers not only charge exorbitant fees for plaintiffs in medical malpractice, they go after huge awards of which there is no ceiling. This has a domino effect requiring doctors to either charge more for their services or quit doctoring altogether, as is the case with many OB/Gyn doctors and Emergency Room physicians.
Here is the calculus:
1.Lawyers are scum, they own Washington and comprise most of the public offices. If they are not in office they have tons of friends in office.
2.Lawyers get their way because they have friends in office or are in office themselves. (So for the foreseeable future there will probably be no tort reform).
3.Lawyers love malpractice suits where people die, they see dollar signs. They go to sleep with dollar signs with big boobs dancing seductively in their dreams. Jury's' who will see family members sobbing always award big bucks. Poor Billy Bob who smoked for 30 years died of cancer. Then we see the family wanting some money because he was addicted to cigarettes and died of the habit. You don't see heroin addicts going after Afghani farmers, or cocaine addicts going after Columbian importers.
Litigiousness is out of control. Daisy BB Guns sued because their product shoots bb's. Lawsuits are pursued against Jack Daniels because their product inebriates people, so the COMPANY is at fault. Personal responsibility is what the whole shebang boils down to. It doesn't exist anymore. It's not taught by a great measure of our population. It's no longer espoused as the honorable thing to do. When you do something wrong or stupid, own up to it. Or as the kids say “Man Up”.
Admissions I'd like to hear are:
Cigarette Smokers - “I knew cigarettes would kill me, but I didn't care. I liked the way they made me feel.”
Burglars – “I know I shouldn't steal, and that man had every right to shoot me in the ass as I made off with his stuff.”
Murderers – “I knew I shouldn't a killed that woman, and I deserve to die because of it.”
Members of Congress – “I know I've taken money from bad people to do their bidding in Congress, but I promise from now on I'll work for the people.”
Brittany Spears – “I need parenting class and an island where I can't get high.”
Alan Colmes – “I'm a liberal and I need HELP!”
Alcoholics – “I know I'm a drunk, but nobody forces me to drink. I'm just a self destructive SOB.”
Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi – “I'm a kook and a lawyer and I need to be put out of your misery.”
Ted Kennedy – “I'm a drunk lawyer and a liberal and I need to be put out of your misery.”
Hillary Clinton- “You wouldn't even know me if it weren't for my philandering ex-President of a husband. You shouldn't even elect me dog catcher.”
Immigration will be the deciding factor in the 2008 elections. Border security is a joke, always has been.
People in the legislative and executive branch are guilty of collusion with Mexico and Big Business to keep the flow of cheap labor coming. That's why there is all this foot dragging. No brain surgery there. They just lie, tell us one thing and do another.
In the same vein, (National Security) the Iraq war needs to be won, pulling out is exactly what we did in Viet Nam. We put our boys and girls in harms way to do a job and if the Dems get their way, we will bring them home before it's done, only to have to fight it here. Makes me sad and angry: Sad, because there will be the same sense of futility for our Iraqi veterans that our Viet Nam vets feel. Angry, because I know there will be MUCH more bloodshed by terrorists bent on killing Westerners that could have been averted if we'd only stayed and done the job. It's the ebb and flow of hawks and doves, Republicans and Democrats.
The Fairness Doctrine is anything but fair. It's censorship plain and simple. It would affect radio both AM and FM, TV, public speaking, church pulpits, soap boxes, and blogs. But you can bet your behind that the already liberal media will be considered moderated already and exempted from this doctrine. Since when is it Congresses business to be watchdog of AM radio, Media Matters who gets it's marching orders from George Soros and other liberals has gone after Rush Limbaugh with claw hammers, by taking one paragraph totally out of context, and exploiting it to revive this stinking carcass called the Fairness Doctrine. Not only should this law be buried, but cremated and it's ashes scattered on the nearest dairy farm along with all the other BS.
Again, another semi- coherent rant. A lot is happening, and fast. Fasten your seat belts it's going to be a scary ride to the '08 elections.

Petraeus' Testimony
Petraeus spoke truthfully about the gains and setbacks since the “Surge”. Politics (both Iraqi and US) has failed them. Not the military action, but the failure of politicians in Iraq to come to an agreement on how to govern the country.
Democratic Republics are sometimes born overnight, but are never secured overnight. There is continual push and shove by those who would have freedom and those who would take it away. Iraqis have been under the rule of a dictatorship for decades and are now thrust into an arena with which they are unfamiliar. Old tribal loyalties outweigh the rule of the majority. A similar drama is being played out in Afghanistan. Religion... Islam is the knife in the back of Iraq's new republic. While Muqtada al Sadr's Mehdi army has called a truce, the Iranian-supported Shiite insurgents and outside fighters from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Jordan, will continue to foment violence within Iraq until the people of Iraq are tired of the fighting.
The Iraqi media is being told that it's the coalition forces killing Iraqi civilians, when it's almost always Arabs killing Persians killing Arabs. After a while, the people of Iraq may begin to see that it's not advantageous for them to quarter these murderers and terrorists and show them the door. You can't have freedom when according to the Koran certain people are either second class citizens (dhimmi), infidels, who must be killed, or taxed jizya if they want to practice their own religion. A government based on this kind of inequality is either doomed to failure or will be exploited by the killers and murderers who flock to this Islam and grasp it's more militant and extreme views.
